Build learning that matters

We're looking for people who care about how content actually works. Not just what looks good in theory, but what helps someone understand something difficult or master a new skill. If you've ever rewritten an explanation three times because it still wasn't quite right, you might fit here.

Collaborative workspace showing content development process

Open positions

These roles require different skills but share a common thread: figuring out how to present complex information in ways that actually help people learn. You'll work with subject experts, instructional designers, and technical teams to create course experiences that balance depth with accessibility.

Senior Content Strategist

Full-time Cape Town R550,000/year

We're looking for someone who can turn complex learning material into engaging content that actually helps people learn. You'll work directly with subject experts and instructional designers to create course structures that make sense and keep learners engaged throughout.

What you'll handle

  • Develop content frameworks for new courses across various subject areas
  • Analyze learner feedback to identify where content clarity breaks down
  • Collaborate with technical teams on delivery optimization and format testing
  • Maintain content quality standards across all course material
  • Guide content creators on tone, structure, and learning objectives

What we're looking for

  • 5+ years working in educational content development or similar field
  • Demonstrated ability to work with technical subject matter you don't personally specialize in
  • Strong understanding of how people actually learn difficult material
  • Portfolio showing varied content types and formats
  • Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders on content projects

Learning Experience Designer

Full-time Cape Town R480,000/year

Design course experiences that balance depth with accessibility. You'll prototype new learning formats, test interaction patterns, and refine how we present complex information to diverse audiences. This isn't about making things pretty—it's about making difficult concepts genuinely understandable.

Your responsibilities

  • Create wireframes and prototypes for new course formats and interaction models
  • Conduct user testing sessions with actual learners to identify friction points
  • Design interactive learning components that clarify rather than distract
  • Document design patterns and best practices for the broader team
  • Work with developers to ensure technical feasibility of design approaches

Required background

  • 3+ years in UX design, instructional design, or related experience
  • Proficiency with prototyping tools like Figma, Sketch, or similar
  • Understanding of accessibility standards and inclusive design principles
  • Ability to explain your design decisions clearly to non-designers
  • Portfolio showing thoughtful interaction design for learning contexts

Technical Content Editor

Full-time Cape Town R420,000/year

Review and refine technical content to ensure accuracy and clarity. You'll work with subject experts to verify technical details while making the material accessible to learners with varying backgrounds. This requires both precision and the ability to explain why something matters.

Day-to-day work

  • Edit technical documentation and course materials for clarity and accuracy
  • Verify correctness of code examples, technical procedures, and explanations
  • Maintain consistency of style and terminology across all content
  • Coordinate with instructors on content revisions and updates
  • Flag areas where technical depth needs adjustment for target audience

What you bring

  • Background in technical writing, editing, or related documentation work
  • Familiarity with programming concepts and technical domains
  • Exceptional attention to detail and consistency
  • Experience working with subject matter experts to clarify content
  • Ability to identify when explanations are too simple or too complex
